VOTE FOR EQUALITY

Best Option: Vote EARLY and IN-PERSON

STEP ONE: Check your registration

Check your registration status

Voter ID: Need help with a voter ID? Contact VoteRiders.org for assistance

BONUS POINTS: Get Notified of Future Changes: Register at Voterly.com to be notified if your voter file changes
This registration should identify unexpected changes / voter roll purges (voter purge overview, Pew Charitable Trusts)

STEP TWO: Plan When/Where to Vote
(2021 voting will be in GA and VA)

Georgia's My Voter Page
Virginia Information (Vote411.org)

Voting during a pandemic

GOOD: Vote by mail and send your ballot two weeks before the deadline
BETTER: Drop off an absentee ballot
BEST: Vote early + in person (these early votes are reported with Election Day results)

STEP THREE: Know What's On Your Ballot

Know which issues are important to you and where the candidates stand:
Click "Find What's On Your Ballot" at the top of this page from Vote411.org (a project by the League of Women Voters)

STEP FOUR: Spread the word

Post a selfie: Download our Voter Pledge, fill it out, and post it online. Don't forget to tag @VoteEqualityUS on IG / FB / Twitter!

STEP FIVE: VOTE!

STEP SIX (IF APPLICABLE): TRACK YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT

If you submit a request for an absentee ballot, track your ballot (Georgia tracking here and Virginia tracking here). You can check on its progress / processing. If there are any issues that caused your absentee ballot to be rejected, you have an opportunity to "cure" your ballot by Friday, 3 days after the election.
