Vote!
Getting the 28th Amendment (Equal Rights) certified and published in the Constitution probably requires a vote from the U.S. Senate to recognize the amendment. In 2020 there were 34 states with 35 U.S. Senate races in 2020. On January 5th, Georgia will have a runoff election for their two senate seats.
We believe the outcome of these races will determine whether or not the United States shares power between the two major parties and whether or not the Senate will prioritize gender equality in 2021 and beyond.

2020 U.S. SENATE SJRES6
If Mitch McConnell wants to champion gender equality before the election, he can bring the legislation (SJRes6) carried by Senators Cardin (D-MD) and Murkowski (R-AK) to the Senate floor for a debate and vote. It is widely believed that the resolution, currently sponsored by 49 Senators, would pass.
SJRes6 removes the deadline and recognizes the 28th Amendment (Equal Rights). Passage of SJRes6 would be Congress' final step to ensure gender equality is added to our Constitution. Check SJRes6 to see if your current Senators are sponsors and if so, please take a moment to say thank you! If not, please take a moment to tell them why constitutional gender equality is important to you.
NOTE: On February 13, 2020 the House of Representatives passed the corresponding legislation, HJRes79.
